I am working with a very reputable, full service HVAC and construction company that would like to add a VP of Estimating to their team. The scope of projects range from 25K-5mm. Their portfolio boasts projects at MSG, The Plaza, MoMA, Hudson Yards and more!
In this role you are in the know of the next hot construction project, in and out of the office leading a team of Estimators, meeting with perspective clients, present at every bid. This highly visible role has you reporting to the C Suite and a member of the Executive team. You have a voice at the decision making table.
They are seeking a candidate based in NYC or surrounding areas (NJ, CT, Westchester) with the following qualifications:
- 15 years hands on experience in construction
- Field experience on construction sites
- Strong business network and connections
- Proficiency in market intelligence and industry insights
- Client-focused role with expertise in estimating, construction, and HVAC terminology
- Hands on experience managing a team
- Ambitious individual with a drive for career growth and corporate advancement
- Proactive construction manager involved in business development
- Representation at bidding events, fostering collaboration between industry professionals
