Job Description

A Start-Up company I am currently working with located in San Francisco, are looking to hire a Data Engineer to help build and scale the data infrastructure powering their products.

As part of the Engineering team, you will have the opportunity and to be expected to own projects end to end.

You will be responsible for;

• Work closely with the Product and Backend teams to design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure
• Develop, deploy and monitor the data pipelines for ingestion, transformation and storage
• Design and implement tools and abstractions on top of data infrastructure for a variety of search and data enrichment use cases
• Design and maintain data orchestration and streaming pipelines
• Work closely with product teams to develop reusable data resources and design patterns

Qualifications;

• 4+ years experience in Data Engineering working at another start-up or a strong engineering culture
• Experience in building data pipeline stacks from scratch and can demonstrate ownership to drive projects
• Experience in Spark

This role will be 5 days onsite in San Francisco
