Job Description

Position Summary:

Maintain standards and resources for general contractors, third-party project management firms, suppliers, and other relevant parties. The CPM will manage our architect partner, oversee our approved general contractors, and serve as the owner’s representative for our franchisees, guiding them through the development process to ensure design standards are met and we meet our development timelines.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review every construction project in the pipeline and manage the timeline—track, monitor, and report status for all projects from site approval through grand opening.
  • Review projected timelines and bids for every project. Provide feedback to franchisees, area representatives, and support teams on areas to improve timeliness and cost efficiency for projects.
  • Maintain a list of qualified general contractors in all US markets in development.
  • Manage and lead the relationship with our national architect partner
  • Work with our innovation team on future design and innovation of the brand
  • Oversee the re-image program to maintain brand standards

  • Primary contact in the field for construction projects and questions with franchisees, area reps, support team, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Review construction drawings from architects to identify opportunities for reducing costs, improving timeliness, or simplifying complexity, all while working within brand standards.
  • Travel to locations to meet with franchisees and general contractors. Conduct on-site visits to support the field in achieving quality, speed, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to brand standards as needed.
  • Research materials and methods to improve store performance by staying on top of potential products and services that will improve cost, speed, quality, and EBITDA returns.
  • Maintain cost estimate models based on geographic regions, facility types, and space conditions.
  • I'd like you to maintain a list of project costs and provide regular updates to the development team, allowing them to manage projected versus actual costs for new store development.
  • Could you manage the construction process for remodeling and reimage programs as required?
