Job Description

Our Client, an engineering firm based in Peachtree Corners, GA, is looking for a versatile team member who can combine CAD design expertise with hands-on IT support to keep their operations running smoothly. This is a hybrid role, requiring regular in-office presence in Peachtree Corners, GA. Candidates must be comfortable supporting both in-person and remote teams.

Role Overview:

This hybrid position blends CAD design responsibilities with IT support , including help desk and network administration. You’ll work closely with their engineering team to produce technical drawings and provide day-to-day tech support across the office.

Key Responsibilities:

CAD Design:

• Create and revise detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD
• Collaborate with engineers to develop accurate technical plans and schematics
• Maintain drawing standards and documentation
• Assist in design revisions and updates based on project feedback

IT Support:

• Provide help desk support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Troubleshoot and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs)
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and backups
• Document IT procedures and assist with system upgrades

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in CAD design using AutoCAD
• Experience providing IT support in a professional setting
• Familiarity with network administration and Windows-based systems
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent
