We are looking for an experienced Stress Engineer to join our team in Richardson. This role involves working on aerospace structures and repair solutions , ensuring structural integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Job Description:

• Perform Static, Fatigue, and Damage Tolerance Analysis for aircraft structures (metallic & composite) using classical hand calculations.
• Understand load paths , extract loads from Finite Element Models , and analyze failure modes to ensure structural integrity .
• Provide repair dispositions for structural damage and non-conformances .
• Read and interpret engineering drawings .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams , including Design, Materials & Process Engineering .
• Generate Engineering Stress Reports to justify repair dispositions.

Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable):

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering .
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Stress Engineer in the Aerospace Industry .
• Strong expertise in Stress Analysis of Aero Structures .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in providing technical solutions from conceptual to detailed design .
• Knowledge of Finite Element Methods (FEM) for load extraction and solving complex engineering problems .
• Experience in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis .
• Familiarity with Boeing standards and FAA regulations (CFR Title 14, Part 25) .
• Proficiency in PATRAN, NASTRAN, FEMAP, CATIA V5, Enovia .
• Strong oral & written communication skills .
