Redstone Commodity Search are working with a global conglomerate looking to hire an experienced physical non-ferrous metal trader (primary products) to join their commercial team in Houston (or remote).

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Develop and execute trading strategies for non-ferrous primary metals to maximise profitability.
• Maintain and grow a portfolio of clients and suppliers, ensuring long-term partnerships.
• Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities in the physical and derivative metal markets.
• Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory and financial standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, finance, risk management) to ensure seamless operations.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in physical trading of non-ferrous primary metals.
• Proven track record of profitability and risk management in metals trading.
• Strong industry network and ability to bring a transferable book of business.
• Knowledge of LME trading and hedging strategies with Familiarity with the US and global non-ferrous metals markets.
• To be located in Houston (or remote if needed / book strong enough) and currently a US citizen.
