Job Description

Job Title: Procurement Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Analyst to manage our organization’s procurement processes and vendor relationships. This role requires strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work closely with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing. The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the flexibility to travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and external vendors.
  • Coordinate payment, delivery, scheduling, and organization of all purchases to maintain a consistent supply chain.
  • Analyze procurement data to ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.
  • Negotiate vendor terms and agreements, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding of all contract details.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports to management, including cost analyses and supplier performance metrics.
  • Monitor and track inventory levels, order statuses, and supplier lead times.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and attend meetings with vendors and clients, which may require frequent travel.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and support strategic sourcing initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to negotiate firmly yet diplomatically with external vendors.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly for vendor meetings and site inspections.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Certification in procurement (e.g., CPP, CPSM) is a plus.
