Our client is hiring a 2nd shift Bilingual Operations Manager for their facility in Hazleton PA.

Their mission is to make locally grown, great-tasting lettuce that’s available year-round.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse/greenhouse setting and has a passion for sustainable agriculture.

Shift Time:

• 2nd shift 3pm-12am (midnight) , 7-day availability but working 5 days a week, usually Mon-Fri.

Requirements for consideration:

• 5-10 years’ experience managing large teams (50+) in manufacturing, food production, or greenhouse environment.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience managing production KPIs.
• Willingness to work a full 2nd shift schedule with flexibility to support 24/7 operations as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong financial and operational acumen, including P&L awareness.
• Demonstrated success in high-growth or start-up environments.

Job Function:

• Lead 2nd shift operations across all facilities, ensuring alignment, communication, and performance.
• Oversee seeding, harvest, packing, and shipping to deliver on quality, productivity, and safety goals.
• Partner with Quality, Sanitation, and Maintenance teams to resolve issues and drive collaboration.
• Manage a 100+ person team to achieve KPIs in yield, labor efficiency, cost, waste, and OTIF delivery.
• Implement continuous improvement using Lean principles to boost efficiency and reliability.
• Enforce GMPs, food safety, and safety compliance while promoting a disciplined, team-oriented culture.
• Provide clear reporting, shift handoffs, and communication with leadership.
• Coach and develop supervisors and strengthen engagement and leadership capability.
• Act as the on-site senior leader for any shift-related issues or emergencies.
