Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Support Coordinator to join our Material Planning team. The candidate will play an integral part in the demand planning and scheduling of materials for use across a global spectrum, collaborate with partner lines both internally and externally, follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and assure compliance with Pfizer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, along with all applicable worldwide regulations and guidelines (e.g. FDA). Provide coordination support to digitalize processes for the department and partner lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Material Assessment: Use multiple inventory systems to assess material availability for customer lines
  • Inventory Management: Review and monitor global and local manufacturing schedules to ensure material availability meets expected due dates
  • Shipments: support the movement of GMP materials
  • Documentation: Update and maintain detailed documentation of material item master files
  • Collaboration: Support and collaborate with GMM Material Planning Leads to assess material needs for upcoming PSSM and BTx clinical manufactures
  • Sourcing: Support sourcing activities for the procurement of GMP materials, including vendor communications, obtaining quotes, placing purchase orders, supporting documentation requests, etc..
  • Continuous Improvement: work closely with other GMM team members and collaborate with partner lines and manufacturing colleagues to support all facets of materials management operations.
  • Support core areas including audit readiness, investigations, continuous improvement initiatives, and innovation opportunities

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years’ experience
  • Microsoft Office knowledge, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with inventory management concepts
  • Strong communication skills and time management
  • Knowledge of planning, inventory management, reporting, and other supply chain/logistics preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft power automate / power BI preferred

Compensation

$23-27/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
