Role Overview:

This position supports the fast-paced, growing North America Commercial Business as Head Human Resources. This collaborates with business and HR leaders to influence and shape workforce strategy. Incumbent will be involved in all aspects of the employee lifecycle, with a primary focus on HR Business Partnering, Change management, Talent Management, Payroll, and Benefits

Overall Job Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with North America Commercial and HR Leadership towards developing, recommending and implementing human resources strategy and policies in support of near term objectives and long range plan.
  • Responsible for design and delivery of engagement practices for employee retention and productivity through organizational framework on engagement, curated programs specific for talent and informal connects and listening.
  • Attract and maintain the highest caliber of talent by driving rigorous recruitment and selection processes. o Build a deep understaffing of Commercial organization structure in Generic pharmaceutical organizations, including Glenmark’s direct competition o Ready availability of talent pipeline mapping for each key positions – mix of internal and external talent. o Build relationships with recruiters o Ensure talent is well inducted into the organization
  • Develop and maintain an optimal manpower financial strategy by analysing current and future staffing needs, reviewing variances against plan.
  • Handle employee relations matters for the North America business. Ensure all statutory compliance pertaining to labour in all offices across the region. Provide oversight EEOC/AAP, ADA, ACA and related matters.
  • Provide expertise and support towards payroll, benefits, compliance and employee grievance matters to all business units and functions in the North America geography
  • Leverage HR COEs to create best in class HR experience for talent across Learning & Talent, Resourcing, Rewards and Employee engagement.
  • To work closely with the HR Leadership Team for driving the HR roadmap and partner in certain organization wide HR initiatives.
  • Lead the North America HR team

Educational Qualifications:

  • Master’s in Business (Degree / Diploma) administration preferably in Human Resources. Experience:
  • 15+ of Human Resources experience, including at least 5+ years of managerial exposure in North America, preferably from Generics pharmaceutical industry.

Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical)

  • Overall understanding of all aspects of HR such as Business Partnering, Recruitment, Rewards & Payroll, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Talent Management.
