Are you ready to shape the future of our clients Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) capabilities for a Global Semiconductor Solutions OEM who are at the forefront of Semiconductor Chip Manufacturing, Science & Space industries? Hunter-Davies is searching for a visionary ERP Administrator experienced in SAP S4/HANA who is able to lead the administration and strategic development of our clients ERP systems, MES systems and other business applications. In a team of IT specialists, administrators & data scientists' your leadership will carve the path towards maximizing our clients operational efficiency for many years ahead.

The role - ERP Mastery & Enhancement:

Business Applications Leadership:

  • Be the strategic and technical authority for all enterprise applications
  • Oversee day-to-day performance, reliability, and security of ERP and business systems.
  • Lead the evolution of our clients digital backbone, optimizing configurations and upgrades to meet ambitious business and operational excellence goals.

ERP Expertise in Action:

  • Leverage your deep SAP S4/HANA experience in a discrete manufacturing environment to ensure system performance, user satisfaction, and compliance.
  • Champion continuous improvement - from configuration through data migration, integration, and user enablement.

Cross-Functional Impact:

  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing, finance, supply chain, HR, IT, and business unit leaders to assess requirements and deliver tailored digital solutions.
  • Manage and prioritize software needs that keep our client at the forefront of technological possibility.

Integration & Enhancement:

  • Partner with IT and business teams to streamline workflows and enhance our clients application ecosystem.
  • Drive integration projects (including MES and PowerBI) and identify opportunities for impactful new features, process automation, and system upgrades.

Data Integrity & Insight:

  • Safeguard the accuracy and reliability of business data.
  • Oversee migrations, reporting, and advanced analytics, empowering teams to make informed decisions and fueling innovation with high-quality data.

User Empowerment & Documentation:

  • Deliver compelling user training and create robust system documentation.
  • Ensure every user - from engineer to executive - can confidently use and maximize our clients application suite.

Security & Compliance:

  • Champion application security and compliance in coordination with IT Security.
  • Maintain stringent controls, audit trails, and regulatory standards across cloud and on-premises systems.
  • Lead audit and remediation efforts.

Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the principal liaison for technology vendors, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage SLAs, foster productive partnerships, and ensure solutions align with evolving business priorities.

Your Growth Journey:

Year 1:

  • Master our clients applications landscape - including SAP S4/HANA and deliver immediate operational enhancements.
  • Establish robust data governance and high user adoption.

Years 2-3:

  • Drive integration initiatives, especially between SAP and Azure Data Lake/PowerBI.
  • Implement system automation and enhancements for efficiency and insight.

Years 4-5:

  • Architect and execute a roadmap for advanced analytics, data architecture, and emerging technologies, such as SAP AI systems.
  • Expand your influence as a thought leader and mentor in enterprise applications.

Beyond 5 Years:

  • Shape the next frontier: support global expansion, establish best-in-class innovation labs, and elevate the business systems to benchmark status in the high-technology space.

Your Profile and Expertise:

  • With a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration, you bring robust experience in SAP S4/HANA administration (v2.0 or above) and has worked extensively with SYSPRO ERP.
  • Over several years, you have developed advanced skills in SAP ABAP and SAP Business Objects, including successful integration of SAP with Azure Data Lake and PowerBI.
  • Your background encompasses deep familiarity with both cloud and on-premises application and database environments, spanning system configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
  • You are known for a thorough understanding of cross-functional business processes - including finance, supply chain, human resources, and manufacturing - you excel in managing data migration, system upgrades, complex integrations, and business reporting.
  • Your expertise also extends to application and database security best practices and data compliance.
  • A strong problem solver with a proactive and resilient mindset, you communicate effectively and are known for your collaborative, team work, autonomous user-centered approach.
  • You offer solid technical documentation and user training capabilities, coupled with hands-on experience in SQL databases, data architecture, and engineering.
  • Your skill set is further complemented by knowledge in SAP AI systems and business intelligence tools, supporting advanced data analysis and reporting for enterprise needs.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • You will receive a fixed salary in the range of $115-120K fixed salary with strong benefits such as 401k company match, Holiday, Medical, Dental and Insurance packages.
  • The role is hybrid role with on-site, home-office and up to 10% domestic and international travel opportunities.
