Job Title: DevOps Engineer (Software Engineer 2)

Location: Newark, California (100% Onsite)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Overview:

seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join its Mobile & Data Commerce team . The selected candidate will be responsible for automating infrastructure, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and deploying containerized microservices for Lucid’s customer-facing mobile applications. This is a 100% onsite role in Newark, CA , with a strong focus on collaboration, coding, and delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy .
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible .
• Develop and maintain Python automation scripts for deployment and operational tasks.
• Deploy and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes .
• Build and support infrastructure using AWS services , including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM , and CloudFormation .
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline deployment of microservices-based mobile applications .
• Monitor and maintain system reliability and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD processes.
• Advanced proficiency in:
• Python scripting
• Kubernetes
• Terraform
• Ansible
• Docker
• Jenkins and Groovy pipeline scripting
• Strong hands-on experience deploying cloud infrastructure using AWS .
• Certifications Required :
• Python certification
• AWS Certification (e.g., Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on mobile and web applications .
• Background in the Electric Vehicle (EV) industry .
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana , or Datadog .
