About the role:
The Delivery Head for Google Business Unit owns the delivery of company's Technology services to Google. Right fit must have experience working with Google Data Stack, including BigQuery, AI Vertex, Looker and led data transformation programs on GCP , driving modernization initiatives for large enterprises.
- Candidate must possess around 20 years of progressive experience in Delivery Leadership roles for Software development and operations programs, and atleast 5+ years in leading Cloud Programs, preferably on Google Cloud
- Candidate must have strong knowledge of the technology areas such as Cloud IaaS/PaaS services, Cloud-native Development, Cloud migration, Cloud Operations, Platform Engineering, DevSecOps/SRE, Cloud/Infra Security, Cloud Networking, Backup/Disaster Recovery etc.
- Ability to engage with CxOs/VPs/Director level stakeholders for for program planning, tracking of delivery, governance reviews.
- Strong preference for candidates who have Google Cloud experience. Candidates with strong experience on other Clouds such as AWS or Azure are also fine, if they are enthusiastic about getting into Google Cloud delivery.
- Should have proven delivery leadership for a multi-customer portfolio with mix of cloud development, cloud migration, DevSecOps/SRE and Cloud operations programs in T&M or fixed price commercial models
- Most have strong experience in utilizing industry standard processes and appropriate metrics using Scrum/Agile/Kanban, ITIL
- Ability and willingness to travel for customer meetings (25% to 50% travel)
- Ability and willingness to work with teams in a detail-oriented manner to ensure important program milestones and operations are delivered as per commitments
- Ability and willingness to get involved and take full ownership of delivery during customer escalations
- Must be able to personally guide teams for program delivery, customer management and technical perspective (in his/her area of expertise)
- Must provide hands-on leadership to large-deal pursuits: Guide & work hands-on with the pursuit team for technical solution design, estimation, planning, commercials and proposal presentation.
- Ability to create and review SoWs with attention to details around risk/liabilities
- Collaborative mindset : should be able to collaborate for cross-selling with Vertical Teams to grow Infrastructure business.
- People Leadership Development : Proven leadership towards building and groom next 2 levels of delivery leaders.
- Strong business acumen to lead a high-growth portfolio with annual revenue of USD 15Million to USD 25Million, with people span of control of 150 to 250 engineers.

- Works collaboratively with all peers to ensure organizational goals are met
- Responsible for project delivery on time and to budget.
- Right fit must have deep knowledge of the Google Data Stack, should have Big Query, AI Vertex, Looker and understand e2e good data stack.
- The delivery head must have seen couple of data transformation programs
- Responsible for right effort goes and correct revenue recognition takes place
- Responsible for reviewing new custom Technology projects to plan and coordinate delivery activities
- Responsible for managing any scope change and convert this to revenue from the customer
- Responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting delivery issues in a timely fashion.
- Responsible for overseeing daily activities of delivery team and provide direction and guidance as needed.
- Responsible to make critical business decisions in consultation with all Delivery partners and stakeholders to meet customer expectations.
- Responsible for proactively managing service performance to meet or exceed SLAs and other contractual obligations
- Responsible for driving operational accountability, continuous improvement and customer focus
- Partnering with Key Account Management and Product teams to identify and drive new business opportunities
- Responsible for identifying and recommending process improvements both to clients and to internally to custom Technology delivery team, as needed
Accountable for:
- Customer satisfaction for all customers served by operations both internal and external
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability of projects in coordination with Strategic Business Unit heads
- Handling all customer complaints and complements
- Overall revenue recognition, overall gross margins for the projects and profit for the entire organization in operations
- Research and Analysis required by the entire organization
- Account winning pre-sales proposal creation, and answering RFI and RFP for our customer facing departments
- Excellent project delivery on time, within budget and at high profitability in all services like Product implementation and customization, Content Services and Technology Services both from India and in USA
