Description We are looking for a meticulous and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in San Mateo, California. Responsibilities: - Unpack and sort boxes to ensure proper organization and inventory management. - Inspect products for any signs of damage before preparing them for shipment. - Prepare items for shipping by ensuring all necessary steps are completed. - Upload software to devices and perform diagnostic tests to ensure functionality. - Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipping details. - Perform data entry tasks with precision and efficiency, ensuring information accuracy. - Utilize basic office equipment to scan, organize, and file documents. - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely task completion. - Assist with general office tasks, including organizing files and managing correspondence. - Calculate and verify data using 10-key skills to support operational needs. Requirements - At least 2 years of experience in a data entry or similar role. - Proficiency in 10-key typing for high-speed and accurate data entry. - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word for document creation and management. - Excellent organizational skills for maintaining files and records. - Effective communication skills, including email correspondence. - Ability to operate basic office equipment such as scanners and printers. - Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies. - Customer service skills to ensure a positive and detail-oriented approach.
