Job Title: Contract Manager

Target Compensation Range: $90,000 - $105,000/year, depending on the relevant qualifications and experience.

SUMMARY: As Contract Manager, you’ll be a key player in expanding and maintaining Astiva Health’s provider network. You’ll lead contract negotiations, foster strategic relationships, and ensure our network meets regulatory and member needs. This role blends analytical rigor with relational insight—perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Draft, revise, and manage contracts with IPAs, hospitals, and ancillary providers
  • Explain reimbursement methodologies and negotiate terms with provider partners
  • Lead provider recruitment and orientation to support network adequacy
  • Monitor billing trends, access barriers, and utilization data to inform strategy
  • Collaborate with leadership on issue resolution and strategic initiatives
  • Recommend improvements to contracting systems and workflows
  • Ensure compliance across all programs and provider relationships

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in a contracting role within a Health Plan, IPA/Medical Group, or MSO
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of Medicare reimbursement models
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with precision and grace
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
