Yoh has an immediate,
12 month contract opportunity, as a Project Manager- Corporate Facilities, within the Enginnering, Architecture and Construction Industry , to our client, Onsite, to report to their corporate campus in Kansas City, MO. - Max Pay Rate: $45/hr.
- 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday, Day Shift
- 14 years related experience in design and interior construction management, including 5 years or more project management experience in the architecture, interior design, construction industry is required.
What You Will Be Doing - Manage multiple projects ranging from small work orders to capital equipment installs and complex tenant finish modifications.
- Oversee all phases of project execution from initiation and scope development, through design, construction, and closeout.
- Interact with the client and design team to develop project scope and communicate regular project status updates.
- Provide direction to a multi-discipline project design team.
- Monitor project execution for conformance to established processes.
- Actively develop relationships with all levels of the client organization, promoting client satisfaction and marketing of services.
- Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and judgement in anticipating and solving problems.
Who You Are - Bachelor Degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or related field from accredited program and min 14 years related experience in design and interior construction management, including 5 years or more project management experience in the architecture, interior design, construction industry is required.
- Prefer 3+ years project management experience for projects related to commercial office facilities.
- Must have a minimum of 3+ years in the construction industry. Previous experience as a foreman and/ or superintendent is a plus.
- Must have thorough understanding of OSHA and the latest safety standards.
- Experienced and competent individual capable of solving difficult problems requiring adaptation and modification of standard techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, including a wide range of scopes and schedules.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
- Proficient in project management tools and MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Positive outlook & attitude! Works well in a team environment.
