A highly respected Manhattan real estate firm is looking for a talented Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join its busy and collaborative transactional team. What You’ll Do

• Lead sophisticated lease transactions for retail, office, industrial, and ground leases—drafting, reviewing, and negotiating from LOI to close.
• Support end-to-end real estate deals, including purchases, sales, leasehold financing, and joint ventures.
• Interpret and structure key lease provisions: use clauses, CAM, escalation, exclusivity, early termination, and more.
• Collaborate directly with clients—owners, developers, and institutional lenders—to align legal advice with business goals.
• Work cross-functionally with finance and zoning counsel on leasehold due diligence, SNDAs, estoppels, and regulatory review.
• Keep your market edge by staying current on NYC real estate trends, zoning shifts, and commercial leasing strategies.

What We’re Looking For

• JD from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York Bar
• 3–7 years of strong commercial leasing and real estate transactional experience
• Deep familiarity with NYC commercial leasing standards, including retail and office
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills — you should be confident in owning your deals
• A client-first mindset and excellent communication skills
• Bonus if you’ve worked with institutional lenders and understand leasehold financing dynamics
