Summary

Bacon Plumbing, Inc. (BPI) is seeking an experienced Plumbing Project Manager to lead and oversee multiple commercial projects ranging from $10,000 to $1.5 million in plumbing scope. This position will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing commercial plumbing projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and organizational skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple commercial plumbing projects simultaneously.
• Oversee all phases of construction: rough-in, top-out, and trim stages.
• Lead and coordinate ground-up, design-build, and interior finish-out projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and milestones.
• Monitor and maintain quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage and communicate with field supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Issue and manage change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation.
• Maintain effective and timely project correspondence with clients, GCs, and internal teams.
• Prepare and review budgets, submittals, take-offs, and material orders.
• Ensure accuracy in on-site measurements and material quantities.
• Drive project completion including punch list management and project closeout.
• Coach and hold team members accountable for performance and production goals.
• Collaborate with accounting and administration for billing cycles and job costing.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing project management.
• Proven experience managing projects ranging from $10,000 to $1.5 million.
• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and installation processes.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines across multiple projects.
• Proficient in project management and construction software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, or equivalent).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Journeyman or Master Plumber license
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
