Commercial Construction Project Manager

Full-Time | Mid-Senior Level

We’re looking for a skilled and driven Project Manager with a strong background in commercial construction to lead projects from pre-construction through closeout. If you have at least 5 years of experience in the field, excel at building strong relationships with subcontractors, and can confidently manage all phases of a construction project—this role could be a great fit.

About the Role:

As the Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll collaborate with superintendents, estimators, owners, architects, and various stakeholders—acting as the central point of communication and leadership throughout the construction lifecycle, from initial handoff through warranty period completion.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee day-to-day project activities alongside Superintendents, Project Management Assistants, and internal teams.
• Serve as the primary liaison for clients, design professionals, and subcontractors—ensuring alignment and accountability at every stage.
• Identify challenges before they become issues, propose solutions, and ensure that projects meet expectations in quality, schedule, and cost.
• Advocate for the client while leading internal teams toward successful execution.
• Uphold safety standards, enforce compliance, and maintain jobsite professionalism at all times.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of progressive experience managing or supporting commercial construction projects.
• Demonstrated success in navigating complex project scopes and building long-term relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Strong working knowledge of construction methods, building codes, safety protocols, and reading/interpreting plans and specs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with scheduling and project management platforms such as Primavera, PlanGrid, or Viewpoint is a plus.
• Prior experience with healthcare construction (clinics, hospitals, renovations, ground-up) is highly valued.
• Solid math and problem-solving skills; training in business/accounting practices is a bonus.
• Educational background in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline—or equivalent hands-on experience through military service, apprenticeship, or other professional paths.
