Role Overview

The Customer Fulfillment Specialist is a client-facing role focused on delivering exceptional customer service and operational support for Flotek’s Chemistry and Data Analytics business. This role plays a critical part in ensuring orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time.

As a primary point of contact for both customers and internal stakeholders, the specialist is responsible for order entry, shipment coordination, and documentation management to support on-time, compliant deliveries. A successful candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused, with strong communication skills and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

This position reports to the Client Operations Manager and is based in Houston, TX .

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact between Sales and internal teams to support customer operations through clear, consistent communication, job tracking, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal Flotek departments and third-party vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products across multiple regions and job sites.
  • Accurately enter client orders and relevant data into internal systems; manage both inbound and outbound deliveries and field updates to maintain precise on-site inventory records.
  • Resolve customer concerns related to product or service quality by identifying root causes, facilitating corrective actions, and ensuring customer satisfaction through follow-up.
  • Oversee the entire order fulfillment process, engaging stakeholders and tracking orders from initiation through completion to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Track job statuses, usage rates, and projected demand; provide regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer and internal email correspondence.
  • Facilitate effective cross-departmental communication, engaging with Research & Innovation, Manufacturing, Logistics, HSE, Accounting, Sales, Executive, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Monitor shipments, provide status updates, and proactively communicate any delays or changes to all relevant parties.

Required Education, Experience and Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of customer service experience, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or industrial/chemical manufacturing and distribution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience

  • ERP Systems such as SAP and Oracle/JDE
  • Experience in oilfield operations

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have supervisory responsibility.

This position operates in a professional office environment.

The role may involve visual tasks that require the ability to see at varying distances and adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Participation is required in an on-call weekend rotation; occasional evening work may be required based on business needs.

Travel

This position requires less than 10% travel.
