Job Description

Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles.
• Minimum of 5+ years of technician experience at enterprise car manufacturers and dealers.
• Reliable, strong work ethic, and self-starter.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deliverables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Clean driving record.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Ability to operate comfortably within and troubleshoot Linux based systems.
• Diagnostic experience with embedded modules, self-driving systems and sensor stacks.
• Knowledgeable regarding optimization of fleet maintenance and OEM maintenance items.
• Technical trade school certificate or Associate Degree in automotive repair.
• ASE certification and/or manufacturer certification.
• Ability to travel locally and nationally (on occasion).

The role is a 12-month contract with likely extensions. It is fully onsite, on the night shift from 10:00 PM-6:30 AM. The role is based in Austin, TX. The hourly pay rate is $36-$38/ hour depending on experience and skillset
