Role Description

This full-time, on-site, salaried role as an Audiologist is based in Albuquerque, NM. Pay is highly competitive. The Audiologist will be responsible for performing a broad range of diagnostic evaluations, fitting and dispensing hearing aids, cochlear implants, and bone conductive devices, and creating customized treatment plans. They will provide counseling and education to patients and families, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and stay current with advancements in audiology research and technology. Additionally, the Audiologist will participate in outreach initiatives to raise awareness about hearing health.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in diagnostic audiology assessments, including pure tone and speech audiometry, tympanometry, and auditory brainstem response testing
  • Experience in fitting and programming hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and bone conduction and cochlear implants
  • Strong counseling and communication skills to educate patients and families about hearing loss and treatment options
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Knowledge of audiology research, innovation, and best practices; commitment to continuing education in the field
  • Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.), with a valid state licensure or eligibility
  • Experience working in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred
  • Dedication to delivering culturally sensitive and patient-centered care
