The responsibilities of our Financial Advisor Associate are as follows:

  • The ideal Financial Advisor Associate will use investment, financial planning, credit and banking knowledge to advise current clients on all aspects of their balance sheet.
  • The ideal candidate will be part of a team based in Houston and supported by an institutional platform that has the resources, specialists and intellectual capital to advise clients in achieving their desired objectives.
  • Attend to, and maintain relationships with customers by earning trust and thoroughly understanding the customer’s needs, providing quality and timely service, with the main objective being to provide the customer with a unique customer service experience.
  • Assist the Financial Advisor in achieving business results and acquiring new assets, both from existing and new customer base acquisitions
  • Partner with internal specialists to provide cross-functional expertise to clients when needed
  • Prioritize the care of Financial Advisors' clients while they are traveling.
  • Assist Financial Advisors from other teams as needed.
  • Strictly comply with all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines and security measures.
  • Daily reporting of activities and calls received to traveling Financial Advisors (Daily logbook).

Required Experience / skills:

  • More than three years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services developing business, Individuals and families with UHN and/or high net worth in Latin America market
  • Bachelors degree: MBA, or CFP preferred
  • Series 65 or its equivalent (i.e. CFA) - MANDATORY
  • Sales success and strong business acumen
  • Strong community presence with an established network
  • Focuses on the customer experience and works tirelessly on to obtain
  • Proactive, takes initiative and utilizes critical thinking to solve problems
  • Dynamic and credible professional who communicates clearly
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills and applies a disciplined and organized approach throughout the business
  • Spanish fluency required
