Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail oriented and results-driven Assistant Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting Product Managers with the development and management of our product lines, ensuring they meet market demands and align with our business objectives. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, project management skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills to drive product success. This position is an entry level position and offers the opportunity to learn from our existing experienced team and advance as we continue with our rapid growth path.

Duties

• Work with Product Magers to select materials, prints and styles that fulfill design intention, maintain target product cost goals, and product integrity standards.

• Works with Product Manager and Sales Team to establish cost targets for new styles and review cost options for achieving those target costs.

• Manage and track prototypes, presentations, and photo samples to meet specific deadlines. Reviews samples with to ensure accurate design details.

• Partners with internal teams, overseas offices, and sales team daily, throughout the development process via emails, in-person meetings and video conference calls.

• Facilitates weekly PD/ Overseas office meeting and communicates to cross-functional teams.

• Completes style set-up and maintenance in product lifecycle management software throughout the development and line adoption process.

• Maintains fabric library

• Performs administrative tasks, including sending and receiving packages, organizing samples, filing fabric standards, updating charts, etc.

 

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while handling multiple tasks and assignments.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Willingness to learn and ask questions.

• Ability to problem solve, prioritize workload, work independently, and adapt to change.

• Strong analytical skills
