Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master with hands-on experience in Azure DevOps (ADO) to lead Agile teams through the successful delivery of high-quality technical projects. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove roadblocks, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and delivery excellence.

You will be responsible for driving the Agile execution process, ensuring alignment between business and technology stakeholders, and fostering a strong Agile mindset within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives.
  • Guide teams on SAFe and Agile best practices to promote self-organization and accountability.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define goals and prioritize backlog items.
  • Address and resolve blockers or risks impacting team velocity or delivery.
  • Encourage continuous improvement in Agile delivery through metrics and feedback (e.g., velocity , burndown charts , PI goals ).
  • Engage in technical problem-solving sessions with development and testing teams.
  • Promote Agile culture and mindset across teams and projects.
  • Report project status and progress to leadership in a transparent, data-driven manner.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of professional experience with at least 5+ years as a Scrum Master.
  • Strong experience using Azure DevOps for backlog management, sprint planning, and reporting.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
  • SAFe/Agile Certification or willingness to certify within 6 months.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills—both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to operate independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Agile at Scale (SAFe).
  • Experience in facilitating distributed/remote Agile teams.
  • Background in IT systems or application delivery projects.
